I am watching Lord of the Rings 2. Im stuck inside the apartment today. Actually, I tried to go out a while ago but the malls here in helsinki are all closed during sundays. Too bad for me because im used to malling every sunday in manila. i miss malling! waaahhhh!!!
HH is in Laguna today. He was a driver because their driver didnt report today. As usual, he kept complaining.
It's still cold here. It has been raining on and off all day. The wind is pretty icy cold. Punzi has been playing warcraft in the battle net all day since yesterday. He kept complaining that his butt is aching due to excessive sitting.
im a bit sleepy. i might take a nap in a little while.

Glitter

I am watching glitter, mariah carey's flop movie. Actually, the tv is turned on but im not really watching. haha something like i just look at the tv once in a while when waiting for the page to load. The reviews about this movie was very bad so i dont think it's really worth watching.

Im still in helsinki at our apartment. Punzi and I are the only persons here. Chad left for Calgary last thursday. It's carlos' bday today. We had not much work today but we had a very early meeting a while ago. it was pretty tiring. We went to the gym after work. On our way home, it rained. It was so cold here. We went to the supermarket to buy some food stuff. We went home and cooked afritada. we missed eating pinoy food so much.

it's rather late and im pretty sleepy. have to go!

Sunshine at Tallberginkatu 3

It's quarter to 11pm here in helsinki. The sun has just set but it isnt dark yet. The climate here is really different than in manila. Im at the apartment now and trying to continue my work. I am not really required to work here in the apartment but there's nothing else to do. Im not yet sleepy though.

For the past three days(since Sunday), my ofcmates and I have been going out to dinner. Our boss is here that's why we have dinner together everyday. Last sunday we ate at zetor. I had some fish and potatoes. Monday night I had veal for dinner at Papa Giovanni. A while ago I had sushi at Eatz Resto. It is a japanese resto where sushi runs on a conveyor belt around the sushi bar. It was a great experience eating anything without worrying about the bill afterwards. hahaha. Everything here in finland is expensive. I try to stop myself from converting to peso or else I wont be able to buy anything even food.

It's getting dark now. Have to sleep! Ciao!

im in helsinki right now. i arrived here last thursday... it's so cold here! around 4degrees! the sun is still shining until 10pm. that's pretty weird! Im in the apartment right now with my ofcmates. hope i dont get sick because of the weather. during these times, i just miss the humidity in manila. hahaha

Cebu Vacation

I just came home from my cebu vacation last weekend. I had a really great time eating and malling in cebu. hahaha.

Friday morning i left for cebu via Cebu Pacific. The weather was great for swimming. It was hot though. I travelled with HH and his sister. Though i barely slept the night before my flight, i still couldn't sleep during the flight. I had to enjoy every single moment of my long delayed vacation. We arrived at the Mactan Airport at around 10:30am. Our car service to the hotel was waiting for us at the airport lobby. It was a 30 min drive from the airport to Waterfront Hotel in Lahug. This is what i love about cebu... there is no traffic! Arriving at the hotel, we unpacked our stuff and headed straight to the Ayala Mall. Talk about being addicted to malling! We ate our lunch at the foodcourt. Geesh! Food in cebu is really cheap compared to Manila! We toured the entire mall and watched Van Helsing afterwards. My uncle picked us up from the mall to go to the Grand Majestic Restaurant also in Lahug. For a chinese resto, they serve authentic chinese food. Really, really good food that is! Not to mention the price is not as expensive here in manila. hayyy... i just love cebu!

That same night we went to Latino bar in The Village. It is something like a gimmick joint where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We had a couple of drinks with my uncle.

Saturday morning, we were picked up by my lola from the hotel. We went to Mactan to have lunch there. We ate at Sutukil, SUgba, TUwa, KIlaw. It was like a market for seafoods where you can have them cook the stuff you bought. Seafood in cebu is great. We ate a lot again. Then we visited Plantation Bay Resort also in Mactan. I just miss this place. This is the resort where i stayed during my last visit to cebu. I really love that place. I swear to god that ill have my honeymoon there. hahaha

Saturday afternoon, we went to Ayala mall again. We had coffee at the newly opened Starbucks Cebu. My uncle and aunt picked us up from the hotel to go to Mr. A's. It is a high place in cebu. Something like Antipolo where you can see the whole city. It's really a romantic place there. We had a couple of drinks then we toured the city. We saw where Baseline is... a bar owned by a really cute model of penshoppe. hehehe. It was a tiring day so i fell asleep immediately.

Sunday morning, i went to Tabo-an market to buy danggit and dried pusit. The place is really smelly. The smell even clings to the body. My uncle and I went there early to avoid the market traffic. After going back to the hotel and taking a bath, my uncle picked us up to tour the city again. We went to Magellan's cross, Sto. Niño Church, Chinese Temple in Beverly Hills. We headed back to Ayala mall to eat lunch at Ratsky's. They have eat all you can pasta and pizza for only 150 pesos. That's pretty affordable! We watched the Paquiao-Marquez boxing game there. My little cousins played inside the bar. I did some last minute shopping for pasalubongs after the game. We also played billiards at a nearby bar named Brix. Then my uncle took us back to the hotel because our flight is at 9pm and had to checkin around 7:30pm.

We left the hotel around 7pm. The hotel car service was a chevy! Sosyal! hahaha. On our way to the airport, we were talking to the driver. He kept telling us stories about artists visiting cebu and staying at their hotel. It was raining the whole day so i was pretty nervous during the flight back to manila. Good thing, there wasnt any rain when we were near manila. The view from the plane was really great with all the city lights. It makes me think that i should always schedule my flight during the night so i can see a nicer view.

Cebu has a lot of nice people. No incidents of thieves and snatchers. hehehe. Ive seen a lot of good looking men especially inside the hotel and the mall. The guy receptionist in Waterfront is really good looking. Just dont let him talk in tagalog so you wont get turned off by his Visayan accent. hehehe. My cebu vacation has finally ended. Ive waited for this vacation for almost 6years. I am hoping to go back to cebu next year for another vacation. I really really really had the greatest time of my life in cebu.
