Yesterday, there was an all-hands meeting and a thanksgiving luncheon here in the office. Everybody from the whole department including external employees (which includes me) were invited. Before the meeting started, I was talking to an officemate who apparently, reports directly to the FI lead (the older guy whom my teamlead wants me to date). We started talking about how many dateable men there are in the whole department because I kept complaining that the goodlooking men here in the office are either married or gay. There's barely any single, straight and good enough looking men. Haha. And so we did the counting, we only ended up with 5 possible bachelors. Yay! And then we started talking about her FI lead whom she thought was the best candidate for me to date! Haha. Geez! Now there's two of them pushing me to date this guy. Ngyahahaha.
Around 9AM this morning, the lead came to my cube...
Him: Hey homie.
Me: Yes?
Him: There will be food later for lunch at the training room. You can just go in there and get some food. It's around 11-2PM.
Me: Oh ok. Thanks. *while grinning from ear to ear*
Around past 12PM, I haven't taken my lunch because I was obsessing about finishing my KT presentation for next week. The guy came to my cube again...
Him: Hey *insert my name here*.
Me: Yup?
Him: There's pizza at the training room. You might want to get your lunch there.
Me: Ok. I'll go there in a minute.
Did he just invite me to lunch? He did not invite the person next to my cube and the other one next to the one beside my cube. It's just funny because there's been a lot of occassions where there was food at the training room but this is the first time that he actually invited me. Weird?! Is he stalking me? How did he know that I haven't eaten lunch? Haha.
Geez! If he wants to date me, he better just ask me straight to my face instead of making excuses to go to my cube and see me. Hahaha. This guy's funny. Oh btw, I just found out how old he really is... guess???? Well, he's way older than I thought! As old as my mom! Hahaha. He's 49 already. Yikes!

It was totally harmless. It didn't ring any hint of attraction (at least on his part). Relax Lisa... oh and by the way, does age matter still? nyahaha
when it's 21 years age difference, yeah, it should matter! haha. I would go out with him if he'd ask me. He is nice and at least i won't miss my pops too much. Ngyahahaha. Just kidding!
