When I arrived Phoenix last night, I immediately called the special friend. It was about past midnight in Phoenix.
Him: I was amused with you awhile ago during mass
Me: Why?
Him: You were playing with the kid at the church. I saw you making faces. Were you even listening to the homily?
Me: Errr... nope. Haha. I like kids.
Him: You were just amusing.
Hayyy... I think I scared him.

Maybe you over analyzed. I would say the exact same thing as he said given that incident in the church. And if I did just that, your diagnosis would be incorrect.
Did you really get the commitment issue straightened out with him? Or was that an assumption? Not that I'm doubting you, I just wanna be sure that he explicity expressed that he isn't in it for the long haul.
what do you my diagnosis is incorrect?
yes, he does not want commitment... well probably not with me.
