God First!

Whenever I go to a big SFC event, I always have this feeling of being holy and empowered *in terms of faith* afterwards. It is a nice feeling because other people perceive me as someone kinder, more caring and nicer. It is odd, I know! Last weekend's retreat was one of those times that God answered the questions that's been bothering me. Last weekend was a reaffirmation for me that the service I have been doing in the community should not stop and inspite of a more busy and hectic work life, I should not slow down in my service. I know that I have my ups and lows in my faith. There were times that I questioned His plans for me. But then again, God's unwavering love for us has always led us back to Him. Now after this powerful weekend, how can I prolong the empowering effect from last weekend's lessons and worship? Yes, it'll be difficult. I will just try to always, always remind myself to put God first above all other things. Yes, God first!
