I know that dark-skinned people like me don't need commercial tanning beds. Lol. But then for my fair skinned friends who are dying to have my skin color and would dare to get roasted under the Arizona sun for hours *and I mean HOURS!*, this is probably the solution for them. ETS tan sells a variety of Commercial Tanning Beds. They also give trainings for certifications for Tanning Bed technicians!

Today, I released my 2nd R/3 transport. Do you know what that means? It is official! I am now an ABAPer. Yay! I know I've been putting off doing ABAP work for the longest time because I thought *or should I say I still think* that I will get bored with the monotony and the lack of challenge in coding ABAP. So far my client hasn't given me HUGE development stuff for ABAP but I know eventually they will. I have been an open source programmer for the last 8++ years. My heart tells me to stay in Java but my mind tells me to move to the dark force where the financial rewards are more ummm... promising. *or should I say tempting?!*

Here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For the first question, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question, press the Next button TWICE.
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...just type it in!
7. Tag 10 people, and they have to do it, too. :)

I have blogged about quitting smoking couple of weeks ago and yes, I have been nicotine-free for the last 6 months. It was a tough decision for someone who lives and breathes stress everyday. Smoking was my outlet. When I met B, he said in one of our heart to heart conversations that he hates people who can't let go of their addictions. Although he did not bluntly tell me to quit smoking, that statement of his hit me! And it hit me hard! Although I was not in love with him then, I just thought that this guy is trying his best to influence me with the good discipline he has and how much he values healthy living. I just thought that I should give it a try. The rest was history after that.

Smoking can kill. Millions have died from lung cancer and nicotine contributes to a lot of other cancers which can also lead to heart attack and stroke. Second-hand smoke also kills. Imagine harming your own family because of the smoke that you breathe out. ICanSmokeWhenever.com promotes their smokeless electric cigarette. Electric cigarette gives you an actual smoking experience minus the toxins. It is a safe substitute to traditional cigarettes. I am not promoting smoking but at least this is a good start for you smokers to gradually shift into cutting nicotine from your system.

For those Smallville fans out there who were not able to watch last night's episode, please stop reading this post now!

It pains me that Jimmy Olsen and Chloe Sullivan's marriage is falling apart. Was so affected by it last night. I hate that Davis guy but he sure looks hot especially when he goes topless. Hahaha. Last night's episode didn't show signs of Oliver Queen *my ultimate and all-time crush* and Lois. And I hate it that Davis is really falling in love with Chloe. Yay!

Photo taken from TheInsider.com.

The abs!!! Ok, I'll stop staring now. LOL.

I think I've never mentioned here how addicted I am in dressing my bedroom. I think for someone who haven't decided where exactly she wants to settle into, I have too much bedsheets, pillowcases, comforters and blankets. Hahaha. I am serious! Since sleep is a luxury for me, I might as well make sure that I have good quality sleep and splurge on my bedding ensemble. No, I am not making an excuse to go shopping! I just think that the better your bed is, the more restful your sleep will be.

I found a site the that customizes home decors such as window valances, drapes, shades, shower curtain, bedding & pillows, table runners, and many more. Here in the US, custom stuff is always expensive. But if you value quality and you can afford it anyway, then might as well spend those hard earned bucks. What I like about Priority Windows site is that they custom design beddings and pillows too! For people like me who likes to dress up their bedroom like a hotel/resort room, this is the perfect site. They also sell high-quality and high-end fabrics by the yard that you probably won't find at the malls. Choose from the hundreds of fabric shades and prints to create your own combination that can work flawlessly together. Make that dream hotel bedroom happen!

Sorry B but I just have to post this photo of yours... I so love your upper body.

Hookay! I fell in love with his personality first before I fell in love with the body. Hahaha. And I wouldn't even notice how well-built his upper body was until I saw him naked. Bwahaha. Ok, I'll shut up now! This photo doesn't give justice at how nice his chest and arms are. Yes, he is yummy! Hahaha.

With most if not all companies around the globe is reducing costs in any way possible, I guess this Metrick training can help cut down expenses on doing trainings for your employees. Metrick Training is an internet based training and testing center. Learning management system or otherwise known as LMS is a software that provides training management, delivery and tracking for all training related records of your employee. Metrick Training is one of those companies who have developed an LMS system and offers them to different companies as an external service. What are the benefits of e-learning systems? First, employees can be trained anytime and from anywhere for as long as they have internet access. Secondly, since this training is online, you can cut down your cost for repetitively hiring instructors and paying resources for a testing room or a training room, a separate software to monitor your employee records, etc. For companies who are exerting effort to cutdown costs, I think this is a great solution to save costs without sacrificing your employees career growth.

Speaking of new things, let me list down some new *and weird* things I've learned about him last weekend...

- he eats a lot of salad because he thinks of it as an excuse to eat a lot. *LMAO*
- he hates eating from the tub of ice cream. *I'm guilty! I do this a lot!*
- his favorite chocolate bar is Twix peanut butter
- he doesn't eat a lot of rice *or carbs* but if I do serve him garlic rice, I can see the pinoy in him. lol.
- he loves baseball too much... and his Chicago Cubs!
- we share the same liking for Persian food
- he farts a lot! *LMAO* wooopppsss... too much info!
- he is lactose intolerant but is too stubborn to stop eating ice cream and cheese
- he cant sleep beside me without me hugging him or him hugging me... Awwww...
- he thinks that a $130 paper shredder is too much to spend on a shredder... Ultimate kuripot!
- he loves shopping at Ross! I found my match!
- he will never skip breakfast! ever!
- he is an extreme gym rat! the chest... the arms... oohhlala... he puts the Y in YUMMY! Hahaha.

My list can go on and on. This is what I love about spending real quality time with someone... you get to know him better even the bad side of him. And if you really are in love with each other, you will be willing to accept and embrace each other for who they are.

Arizona is home to the most spectacular waterways here in the US that's why there are many residents and tourists who go to these waterways and enjoy a swim and water sports. Boating in Arizona is a very common past time. Much like driving on the streets, boating requires absolute attention to safety and being a defensive driver. This is the same reason why drunk driving should be avoided. Arizona game and fish department is trying to promote safe boating in Arizona. In both driving a car and driving a boat, the legal limit for blood alcohol is .08. Although boating could be fun while drinking with your friends, you should always be cautious because you'll never know when accidents can happen. The same with our roads here in the US, saturation patrols and OUI checkpoints are all over these lakes and rivers during boating months which is during March through September. Boat driver will be checked for his blood alcohol level to ensure that he is not putting other lives in danger by driving under the influence of alcohol. It is also recommended to take a boating education class for boat operators so that you'll be well aware of your responsibilities whenever you take that boat out for a spin. More information regarding boating education classes can be found in the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Let's keep Arizona waterways safe for everyone. Don't Drink and Boat!

I've never felt more lonely living alone than last night when I came home to an empty apartment after I took B to the airport last night. =( Last weekend was probably the best *yet* weekend I've had here in Arizona. The 2 weeks of cleaning-up *yes, I took general cleaning seriously!* was definitely all worth it.

Spending time with him in my apartment was like a preview of how our lives will be like when I move to LV. After knowing him for six months, I am still finding a lot of new things about him. It's just amazing how a person can just sweep you off your feet at the most unexpected time in your life. Yes, he is indeed an answered prayer and I can't thank God enough for bringing him into my life. He definitely gave me more reasons to stay here in the US.

*** More mushy stuff down here...

To the guy who swept me off my feet... It's been a long time since I've felt so madly and deeply in love with someone. I am more amazed at how you make each day interesting and brighter for me. I saw you watching me sleep beside you last weekend. Some may think it's creepy but I think it's so sweet. You just don't know how kilig I am every time you pull me towards you and embrace me... even when you are asleep! You continuously amaze me with the little things that you do. I hope things don't change. I hope God will be gracious enough to allow us to be together for a very long time.

Hayyyy... I am so in love.

This blog badly needs an update! Haha. Sorry for being out of circulation for the past weeks. My life's just been awesomely busy both with work, love *wow! I can't believe I typed this! lmao* and social life. Oh yeah, you read it right... I am struggling to put balance in my life and so far it's improving.

Some quick updates about me... The B *B as in baby! Our term of endearment. Yuck ang corny! LOL.* is coming over here in Phoenix in 2 days. Yehey! We're going to watch a baseball game which I hope I have a tiny space left on my brain to understand how the game works. Hayyy...

The other day I called home in Manila and spoke with my mom... Fyi, my youngest sister is a PITA.

Ma: So which school are we going to send your sister?
Me: Ma, anywhere! For as long as she can promise that she'll finish her chosen course.
Ma: I think you should first hope that she can finish at least one semester.
Me: What?! Ma, I still want to get married and have kids you know.
Ma: Well you can already get married tomorrow if you want! Your doctor told you to get married and have kids already. You have a boyfriend so you can get married but make sure it'll be here in the Philippines.
Me: Ma!!!

Haaaa... did I just get a blessing from my mom that I can already get married?! Hahaha. This is funny!

One of the few things that I cannot leave home without is my credit card. Not that I have a lot of debts. It's just that I feel more secured leaving home having enough means to pay for something if in case anything happens. Like for instance I have to go somewhere far and get gas or pay for a plane ticket. I'm sure it's way easier for these establishments to swipe my card than get in too much hassle finding a bank to withdraw money then pay them in cash. Credit cards have made life easy and it also includes getting into so much debt easily. What I love about charge cards is their rewards program. I know sometimes I give an excuse to use my creditcard so I can earn more points and get a nice gift to redeem. The best way to maximize your rewards is to find a card that only requires you to pay low fees like for instance American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Card. This card was rated editor's choice by DealsforCreditCards.com for their 10,000 membership rewards bonus. Some credit card companies give you a hard time getting a credit card from them because of poor credit. I guess that's one of my petpeeves when I just moved here in the US. Obviously since I just arrived, then I have a non-existent credit which made starting my life here in the US a pretty challenging one.

DealsforCreditCards.com is a great site to do a comparative study on which type of credit card is most suitable for your needs. May it be a low interest card, or a balance transfer credit card or a rewards credit card.
