B is arriving here in Phoenix in a couple of hours. I should be excited. I repeat... I SHOULD be excited. Unfortunately, my braincells and my body is too burned out to even feel any excitement. Honestly, I am more looking forward to lying down on my super cozy bed and get uninterrupted sleep for 8 hours. It's been a while since I had that much sleep. Hayyy... I am just praying that all these projects get done and over with soonest.

BTW, awhile ago I had a meeting with the older guy and my teamlead. My TL knows that B is coming to town today and so this conversation about my lovelife started at the training room...

TL: Is your bf here yet?
Me: Not yet. He's arriving later.
Older Guy (OG): You have a boyfriend now? *sounding super surprised*
Me: Yeah.
OG: Ohhh... Where did you meet him?
Me: Friends of friends
OG: Oh that's a good way of finding a boyfriend.
Me: Yeah. I just feel bad that I have to work this weekend while he's here. Victor's projects are killing me. Sleeping at 4AM then waking up at 6AM.
TL: Awww... Maybe you should apply here.

Hoookay... so it seems that the news about me having a boyfriend didn't reach him until awhile ago. LOL.

Rant Post

The worst thing about lacking sleep is stressing out about a lot of stuff and not getting anything done. I am having the worst week ever!!!

I envy people who have 8-5 jobs. The kind of job that when you leave work, you don't carry any baggage when you get home. Every start of a work day for them is a fresh start. I envy those people who can leave all their work worries in the office and just act like normal, sane and happy people when they get off from work. I envy those people who can sleep soundly at night and get their much needed rest, physically, emotionally and mentally.

I know that in this economy, i am an ingrate for complaining that I have too much work. People would tell me that I am lucky that at least I still have a job and lots of projects. If my body is taking the toll on this so called work-that-i-should-be-thankful-for, I think it's not worth it. Hayyy... Stress makes me sick. Stress is aggravating whatever health condition I already have. Stress is just making me the worst person ever. Wooozaaaahhh. I just want this week to be over.

The quixotic in me is debating with the kuripot me. Should I start my designer handbag collection now??? Early Summer in Arizona

Last weekend was the start of the 100s temperature here in Phoenix. Waaaa!!! This is the reason why I hated living here in Arizona and I can't believe am still here for another summer. Last monday, my sfc bros and sis went to the airport to send off a sister who's moving to New Hampshire. Like my job, she is also required to travel a lot. I am sad that she left but I think God has a purpose for her to be there that's why she was sent there. Like me, there must be a purpose why I am still here in Phoenix. Pink is Not Gay

Last weekend I was at Scottsdale Mall doing a pre-Easter shopping... otherwise known as "my Resurrection" from the shopping hiatus during the whole lenten season. I went to Express to check out the sale and found out that B's favorite pique shirts were on 40% off. And so I called him and asked which color of shirts he didn't have and I will get those shirts for him to take advantage of the great sale. He told me to get any color except PINK! And then I asked him, what's wrong with pink? Pink will look good on him because he's so fair-skinned. He said "Pink is so gay". Duh?!? It's nice to know that you're secured with that someone. That even if the rain is pouring hard and the sky is almost dark, he'll never leave you just so you won't feel alone. Even if his friends had left him (and even if he has to be somewhere else) he'd still stay by your side, just so you won't feel alone.

It's so good to know that you have someone who'll be willing to help you cope up in every frustrations you're having. Every depressing moments, every down moments, every self-worthless-realization moments, he'd be there, not because you want someone to be with you, but because he wants to be with you.

It's great to know when a person appreciates every little thing you do. Even a smile would mean a lot to him, just because you own that smile. And that even if no words are expressed as long as the eyes understand, you'd be able to communicate, just like that.

It's overwhelming when a person tells you that he loves you for who you are. He may not have an answer when you ask him why, but really, he doesn't have to have reasons for loving you.

It's more grateful to know that someone is grateful to have you. We don't choose the people who enter our lives, so it must be luck that you have that person, then you have to be thankful. It may just be coincidence or fate, but whatever the reason is, you have to be thankful in having him the same way he is thankful for having you.

It's a wonderful feeling when you're on the verge of giving up the things you've worked hard for, someone isn't just helping you carry the weight on your shoulders, but he carries it on his own because he'd also be in pain when you are in pain. And then you'll realize, trials would all be worth it as long as you have him, not because he would do things for you, but because you gather all the strength you need, in him and his love.

It's a superb feeling when one is willing to take the risks just so you'll be happy. Unselfishness rule in him just so happiness would take over you.

It's a nice feeling that when you're apart, and days seem to be long, that person misses you. Yes, you might feel bad about not being with each other, but knowing that you feel the same way would drive those blues away, thinking, you'd fight over that feeling because you're looking forward to seeing each other, and that's something to be happy about.

It's a great feeling when he wants to be with you because of the happiness you have when you're together. That even if corny jokes and senseless stories are told, it won't matter as long as you're together.

It's a lovely feeling when someone thinks about your future, with or without him. He cares and he cares enough to think of you and what you'll be someday. But of course, he also wants to be in it someday.

It's a nice feeling when you can be who you really are with that person. No pretentions, no lies, no hypocrisy, because he accepts you for who you are. You can be funny, you can be embarrassed, but it won't matter coz it doesn't matter to him. Trust and faith in each other keeps you alive. And it will always do.

It's good to know that you have someone who'll not have the intentions of breaking your heart. Instead, he would be willing to mend it, picking up the broken pieces of your heart that your past love have scattered in the ground. He may not be able to put the pieces back to where they really belong, but you shouldn't mind, because he had repaired that heart of yours, and he fixed it in his own way. He loves you in his own way, not the way your past did. He fixed your heart in a different way, to keep you from feeling the pains of your past heartache and to make you feel, the love, that he's unselfishly giving.

It's a great feeling when that person has every effort to let you feel what he feels for you. Because of the distractions, you may not hear him shout it to the world, but as long as you feel it, his efforts has paid off, big time. And when you feel the same way too... He'd feel as if he's the luckiest person alive.

My IS300 Failed Me

Kimi failed me yesterday. I stayed late in the office *around past 7pm* because I was planning to go straight to church for the Holy Thursday mass. Guess what?!? When I was trying the ignition of Kimi, it won't start and just gave me a fast clicking sound. Waaaa!!! Battery dead! Since I don't have family here in AZ, I invested on roadside assistance from Allstate. The service guy came in after 45mins and tried to jumpstart Kimi's battery. And yes, it was the battery's fault! I asked the Allstate guy if he could help me get a new battery from the nearby Walmart. I didn't have much choice because it was late and it's the only nearest store where I can buy car batteries. And so the guy was kind enough to help me get a battery then he installed it on Kimi.

Hayyy.... the pains of living alone and not having a bf nearby. Good thing I invested on roadside assistance. This gives me more reason to move to LV soonest.

I told my officemates about this incident this morning and they said that because of the extremely hot weather here in Arizona, car battery life is usually cut into half. This means that the normal 5years battery life will probably last for only 2years here in AZ. Another lesson learned the hard way... do not buy expensive car battery at least if you're planning to stay in Arizona. It's not advisable since it won't last anyway.

I am not making an excuse for my behavior but when I pay for something, I just want to get my money's worth like my not-so-cheap internet subscription in my apartment. I'm on day 2 of my internet-less apartment. Sadly, I am getting more and more frustrated by the minute with my sucky, old internet provider. Today, I have decided to do something about it.

1. To pester my internet service provider into sending a tech person to fix the problem
2. To get an aircard as an interim solution while I don't have my fast internet at home

Better yet, I am going to do 1 and 2! Hayyy... Wooozaaaah.
