Last Twenty-something

It's the last year when I can say I am "twenty-something". Ack! Someone's getting old!

I'm overwhelmed by how many people greeted me today. My FB wall literally got flooded. Thank you! *MUAH*

Cyber Monday Deals

I am self-confessed shopping addict. I love doing shopping online because it saves so much time and gas money. Most of the time, I get big discounts buying things online and it is easier to do comparative price checks from different stores online. Savings.com is my online best friend when it comes to finding the sales events, free shipping or discounted shipping at different online stores. Cyber Monday is the first Monday after Thanksgiving. We all know that during Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) sales events are the best, more so during Cyber Monday. It is the online equivalent of Black Friday only done online. Savings.com offers a variety of coupons and online deals with a vast array of merchants. Do check out Cyber Monday deals at Savings.com to get the best deals on your purchases.

Getting Ready for Black Friday

ME: What are we buying for Black Friday? TV or a laptop?
GG: Ummmm...
ME: We can only buy one because of our budget. If I buy a TV, I can't take it with me to Manila when I move back in July.
GG: You are not moving back.
ME: Huh?
GG: Because!
ME: Because what?
GG: Because we're going to get married and you'll stay here.
ME: *speechless* *smiling*

Sometimes I ask myself why I love this guy every time I go home and see a super kalat apartment. But then again, those conversations such as above reminds me why. Awwww... =)

Discernment

I'm at crossroads. I have big decisions to make and bigger problems to solve.

As you know, I am on working visa here in the US. My contract is expiring mid next year. The economy is bad and of course, my current employer is also suffering from this economic downturn. I am leaning towards not renewing my contract and just move back to Manila where I know I can get a good job. My GG does not want me to move back. Period. Now he wants us to get married so I can stay here legally which anyway he's been planning to do next year. Getting a greencard takes time and money. Yes, it is difficult!!!

I spoke with my parents and they told me that any time that I want to go back home, they'll be happy take me. I love my GG. I love my family too. I just want to make the best decision. Getting married still scares the hell out of me. I know that my GG will be a very good husband but I am scared that I might not be a good wife. =(
